RESPONSIBILITIES
· You will perform all levels of preventive maintenance services
· Maintain work area appearance and safety
· Diesel repairs, service & diagnostics
· Servicing customers
· Driving to Road calls
· Maintain certifications. Desire to continue seeking training classes and ASE certifications
· Prior diesel mechanic experience
· CDL Class B – driving throughout Long Island
· Diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.
· Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner
· Inspect trucks to ensure that they are in proper working condition
· Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
· Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose
· Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials
· Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
· Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards

SKILLS
· 3 + years of automotive or diesel mechanic experience (preferred)
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Diesel Mechanic / Technician training not needed but is a plus
· A valid driver’s license is required
· CDL a plus
· Truck mechanical aptitude
· Union Shop exposure a plus
· Ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers

Bilingual: Spanish a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and trucks, check fluid levels
• Clean windshields, and wash vehicles
• Fueling of trucks; Fueling Procedures/Checking Fuel Tanks
• Perform Vehicle Safety Checklist upon Vehicle Check-In/Fueling
• Vehicle Runs/Pick-Up and Delivery of Trucks.
• Ability to drive manual or standard transmission
• Service the customer
• Other duties as assigned by the branch manager or lead personnel

SKILLS:
· Customer service skills
· Minimal experience within a similar capacity
· Ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers
· License must be maintained and kept current

Bilingual: Spanish a plus (not required)

In this management role you must have the ability to multi-task and strong interpersonal skills are essential. The job responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist with monthly accounting closing schedule.
• Ensures all General Ledger accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.
• Provide financial analysis and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Experience with bank rec’s
• Verify daily cash, check & credit deposits to POS system.
• Sales tax audit assistance and filings
• Assist in year-end closing and interaction with outside auditors & tax preparers.
• Special projects given by the CFO.
• Experience with processing payroll

Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree Accounting accompanied with MBA (CPA a plus)
• Results oriented with a proven ability to get the job done.
• Effective at managing time, projects, deadlines, and budgets.
• Ability to grasp, learn and communicate complex concepts quickly and independently.
• Demonstrate success in mentoring and developing staff at all levels.
• Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Support the Controller with any accounting and financial activities.

• Review, verify, enter and upload vendor invoices into the system
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain supply inventory for Corporate location
